Hey, you,
I saw your sassy vibe
Shooting lightning from your eyes
A smile so quick and wide;
Kind laugh so big it made you cry
Don’t ever stop doing your thing
Your attempts at love mean everything
In a world sometimes so grey
You are the colour in our day
So shine on through, the way
that only you
can do and say.
Shine on, anyway.

Partly inspired by the beautiful poem of fellow blogger Akanksha Singh (“A.S.”), called “Faith.” But dedicated to any person who keeps going when the going gets tough. π₯π§‘ππ«

I was going through a blog of one of my fellow blogger Mr. Ameet Kothari, when it clicked me something. Why do not we write any meaningful sentence or a story based on personal or someone’s life experience using minimum number of words? Say it 10 words. It can be on anything like love, betrayal, hatred, success, struggle, hustle, family or anything. I don’t know that is it actually a thing or not. I remember Haiku is one sort of poetry using minimum no. Of words but i m not sure. If you can spare some time and think upon it then kindly let me know. π

Yash… this is great.
I have to soon step away.
But can you start this today
On your own blog (which I miss!)
Maybe ignite a chain
Of 10-word poems again.
With (or without) love’s π.

My dear yash
I’m more clueless than you. ;))
Still I have done,
the best I could do. π
Your one-line was perfect
Very inspiring too. ππ
And now my household’s sad
Because I neglected
to make promised food.
So now I’m off to be,
a lunch-maker so good.
Better late than never,
Is my sometimes-mantra
in this hood. π

Thanks dear A.S. So true.
And fire needs oxygen, too.
Sometimes in the form
of supportive fellow
stargazers;
like you. π¬πππ
