    1. Kind as ever Ace. I deeply appreciate your loving energy, and truly humbling praise. Hugs and love to you too. :)) πŸ’—

    1. I feel like my style of late has been determined by the Block of WP, hehe. But thanks so much David for the love. :)) Very much appreciated. πŸ™πŸ’—

        1. I used to type directly into the (Classic) blog editor and just hit publish. Now that it’s switched to the Block editor, if I do that old method it stops working properly after a number of lines. So now I write in a processor offline and copy paste into the blog editor. But more often than not, I just end up leaving it offline these days, because my self-doubt and perfectionism kicks in. (I actually wrote a poem about that today, which so far remains offline!) Flow was definitely easier for me in the Classic editor.

          1. FWIW, yours is by far one of my favorite blogs to read – I consistently click on every post of yours, and I would personally be very happy to see more of your work.

And – I relate to the perfectionism, but I often go back and tweak my poems and prose pieces after I’ve published them.

            1. David, your comment lights up my evening.

I am actually feeling very ambivalent about my own poetry blogging at the moment. Which is strange because I adore (adore!) reading the poetry of others. I’m doing a lot of self-judging and I think it’s just a thing I need to get through again — or not, and just stop or pause the blog. I do have a bunch of other things happening at the moment, related to jobs.

Anyway I appreciate your encouragement a *huge* lot. ❀️

  2. Your poetry reminds me of a Hindustani classical raga, Megh Malhar, that is believed to bring out rains in the area where it is sung. Beautiful lines. Thanks.

    1. Kishore, what an amazing and kind comment. I love it. (Though the real rain bringer here was the muse… :)) I will try to find that one. Thank you!! xoxox πŸ™

  3. I find so often that, while I admire so much your skill at writing, Lia, your playful yet prescient and inspiring use of language, I am also deeply touched by the sense of a heart–your heart–feeling so deeply through these words. A combination that makes for a fine poet.

    1. Wow… excuse me while I breathe this comment in a while longer…

So deeply encouraging. Could be speaking about itself really… your own way with words is simply amazing. Hard to know what to say, but I feel honoured. Powerfully helpful George… thank you. πŸ’πŸ”†πŸ™
